The present study is a parallel in-situ visualization for geodynamo simulations using a open-source dynamo code Calypso. Calypso solves magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations in a rotating shell on a massively parallel computing environment. We develop a parallel volume rendering modules for scalar component and line integral convolution (LIC) modules for vector fields on an unstructured grid, and performed these visualization modules and numerical simulation concurrently.
